A boutique collaborative of architects, interior designers and builders in Islamabad. We take on a small number of projects and listen first: to the site, the city and the people who will live there.

Elegant answers to complex problems. We challenge convention, explore new materials and let light lead the mood of every space.

Local artisans beside international makers, with detailing carried all the way to site. What we draw is what we build.

Trained in design in Turin and Milan, Khyyam leads KID/C with a particular passion for light, and a belief that the best spaces are co-created with clients, local artisans and international collaborators.

The partnership

Two minds,
one studio.

KID/C is led by Khyyam Ikram and Ahmad Sohail. Khyyam brings the design vision, with a deep feeling for light and material. Ahmad, an architect, brings the rigour of architectural design, generative thinking and project delivery.

Together they hold design and execution under one roof, so what is imagined at the table is what gets built on site.

    Naming, logo, typography, colour and brand language shaped to the character of the space.

    Experience

    The journey from threshold to table or counter: lighting, scent, sound, service rituals and spatial storytelling.

    Curation

    Art, objects, furniture and finishes selected as one collection, so the brand is felt in every detail.

    Aks / lab-grown diamond store

    We are creating the brand and in-store experience for Aks, a lab-grown diamond store: an identity and retail environment that feels as refined and precise as the stones themselves.
