The Loft Interior
The repetition of natural materials used throughout the house creates a uniform flow and sense of tranquility. Ceiling, wall and floor merge seamlessly into each other.
The interior of the Loft House brings together the finest of international materials with local craftsmanship.
In the main living room, called The Great Room by the owners, each item of furniture brings scale to match the room. A large, overdyed rug by renowned Pakistani weavers Abbas Carpets breaks the mineral floor to bring playfulness into the space. The one long, u-shape sofa is a single top-grain calfskin beige, comfortably seating ten people.
The greeting point of the house, the Dekton-clad kitchen welcomes visitors and offers occupants stunning views of the palm lined front gardens. It is fitted with neatly tucked away appliances from Smeg, Barazza and Falmec, including a large stainless-steel sink behind Dekton pocket doors, allowing it to function as both, a fully-loaded family kitchen and a stunning entryway for the house.
The three ground floor bathrooms create a symphony of imposing yet calming marble, lending a more seductive tone and cooler texture to the otherwise earthy, sandy palette. Faucets by Bongio and THG Paris meet handcrafted marble vanities.
The property has used the U.S GSA guidelines for a collaborative, comprehensive zonal approach to occupant safety and security.
